Five Years of ColorStack: The Quinny, the Community, and What’s Next
Back in May, we hit a huge milestone—ColorStack’s fifth birthday, known fondly as The Quinny! Traditionally, a five-year anniversary is called a quinquennium—but let’s be honest, that’s a mouthful. So, we made it our own. Our Quinny was a celebration of what we’ve accomplished so far and how much further we’re ready to imagine and expand the work.
We marked the occasion on a gorgeous NYC rooftop, surrounded by friends, partners, and supporters. Huge thanks to AI4ALL, Bloomberg, and CodeSignal for helping us bring the celebration to life. It was a night full of joy, laughter, and powerful reflections on the community we’ve built together.
If you couldn’t be there, don’t worry—we’ve got a recap video you won’t want to miss.
And the celebration didn’t stop at the party. Thanks to your support, we surpassed our $50,000 fundraising goal, raising over $104,500 toward our mission. Reaching five years—especially as a Black-led nonprofit—is a big deal, and it’s only possible because of this community showing up again and again.
ColorStack has always been about community, confidence, and creating space for Black and Brown students to thrive. Thank you for standing with us and for your continued support.
